Panagiota (Giota) Loukisa is a 20+years registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), an associate teacher of modern dance of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), a choreographer, painter and economist.
She holds the RAD’s MA in Education (Dance Teaching) from University of Bath that is specialized in dance education. She also holds the RAD Teaching Diploma and Teaching Certificate with distinction, and a BA in International Economics and Finance from the Athens University.
Her Master thesis was about the impact of Movement Literacy, and in particular of Motif Notation on the memorization of classical dance sequences. Her research interests are in cognition and notation.
Giota is also a Mentor, Tutor and PTS (Practical Teaching Supervisor) for the RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) and has also worked as a choreographer for dance shows.
