Kevin Martial joined the National Center for Contemporary Dance in Angers in 2015, earning a National Higher Professional Diploma in Dance and a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Human Sciences. He holds a State Diploma in contemporary dance instruction from Le Pont Supérieur in Nantes. Kevin has performed with several dance companies and developed original choreographic works. He currently teaches at the Conservatory of Clermont-Ferrand and creates choreography for the Jeune Ballet. He completed his training in Laban movement analysis and notation at the CNSMD de Paris in 2025, receiving a Master’s Degree Level Second-Cycle Diploma. He is now developing a movement notation program at the CRR of Clermont-Ferrand. His work includes restaging an excerpt from Dominique Bagouet’s repertoire, designing an exhibition on dance notation, and collaborating as a movement notator with choreographers Yuval Pick and Louis Barreau. Through his dedication to teaching, choreography, and movement notation, Kevin continues to contribute meaningfully to the field of dance.
