Carol Maxwell Rezabek is the dance instructor at Coe College in Cedar Rapids and ballet faculty at The Dancer’s EDGE in Hiawatha, Iowa. She earned her BFA in Dance Performance from The University of Iowa and her MFA in Dance Directing from The Ohio State University. Carol is a certified teacher of Labanotation and completed notator training at the Dance Notation Bureau. She has staged works from Labanotation and choreographed for colleges, community theatres, and regional productions across eastern Iowa. An American Ballet Theatre® Certified Teacher in Primary through Level 7 & Partnering, Carol’s students have attended renowned summer intensives, pursued dance degrees, and performed as apprentices and company members with leading regional ballet companies.
